Sicily

It is not easy to describe Sicily, because every corner is a micro cosmic ensemble of different cultures and societies, of architectonic styles, of historical signs, of beauty......

The sense of beauty is the sense of the art cities of Sicily, precious jewels of Greek, Roman and Baroque art.....and a sea of beauty embraces the coast of the island!

The Mediterranean, Tyrrhenian and Ionic seas offer their deep blues, the crystal light blue, the emerald green, and who catches these liquid and fresh invitations can ‘t resist and has to leave his self gone with the sea......

Also the ancient rulers of this land came from the sea, and they made its artist and literature heritage really great, letting the sign of their passage to be eternal.....
From Palermo to Trapani, to Agrigento, with its magnificent Temples, up to Capo Passero, in front of you there is only Africa, going up again to Siracusa and Catania, Aci Reale, Taormina......

And then to Etna, the internal villages, the ruins of a magnificent ancient Roman "villa" in Piazza Armerina, with well preserved mosaics, Caltagirone.......up to the Valley of Noto, with its Baroque, recently declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The trip to Sicily could still have the same tastes and feelings of the trips that greatest writers, poets and artists of the past made and showed in their masterpieces. With your sight always directed to the sea, evocation of travel and movement..........
